The Rude Mechanicals latest production “Little Lily Harvey” comes to Wadhurst!
Friday 23 July at 7.30pm
Wadhurst Primary School Field
Come early. Bring a picnic, low back camping chair, and some friends…
The superbly funny, musically talented and wonderfully poignant Rude Mechanicals are performing again in Wadhurst later this month. Once again supported, promoted and Front-of-House staffed by Wadhurst Dramatic Club members, this year’s play ‘Little Lily Harvey’ recounts the moving story of Charlie Chaplin’s childhood and triumph over adversity in the inimitable ‘Rudes’ format.
The cast comprises experienced, top quality professional physical theatre actors trained in mime, clown or commedia. Most are also musicians, and original live music is integrated with the action. Clever sets and colourful costumes mean the result is a feast for all the senses!
Buy your tickets now!
Tickets are now on sale from www.therudemechanicaltheatre.co.uk/book-tickets – just scroll down to the Wadhurst performance on 23 July. Or you can call 01323 501260. Group ‘bubbles’ of four receive preferential ticket prices. A provisional maximum of 100 attendees has been set to maintain social distancing. Currently ticket sales on the night are not planned (although this may change if the mood is more confident) so buy your tickets now online. Full refunds apply if rain or COVID stops the action.
As usual you can arrive early, from 6pm, with your group and bring a picnic to enjoy on the field at Wadhurst Primary School. Supply your own low-backed chairs and, of course, warm clothes!

You’ll have an evening to remember and relish after all these months without live theatre and music!
We look forward to seeing you there.
